How to Make Jake’s Take and Shake

Ok, so here’s how you make one. You need a small jar. It’s got to be plastic, and it’s got to have a screw-on lid. You need a water bottle; and it needs to be the same width as the jar; and it must have a small mouth. You need clear packing tape, and a knife, and then a large-mouthed bottle like Gatorade or Powerade. It’s really easy. First step: cut the plastic jar. Leave a few inches left after the lid. So, you just need a few inches that you’re gonna use later on. Cut the end of the plastic jar off. Then tape that jar to the end of the bottle, so now the end of that bottle is the screw-on lid. Ok, you’re pretty much done. So what are you supposed to do with it? Well, unscrew the jar, and fill that entire bottle full of protein. So now you’ve got a large bottle full of protein that you can easily put in your backpack or take with you. Now screw the lid back on tight. Now you can easily stick the small mouth of the water bottle into the large mouth of the Gatorade bottle. And you can pour in as much protein as you’d like. If you want to be very specific with it, you can make a mark on your Gatorade bottle to what a portion is for the protein or whatever supplement you’re using. Then, I just throw the two bottles in my backpack, and no matter where you’re at, maybe I’ll leave, fill the Gatorade bottle with water; and then when I need a shake, I can just put the powder in the bottle, shake it up real nice, and then it comes to a nice consistency. And then you’ve got a shake when you’re on the go. It’s been easy enough using this that I can I can even make a shake when I’m walking down the road—if I’m walking home from the gym, or no matter what I’m doing, I can easily make myself a quick shake. I don’t need to have a blender. I don’t need to have a big tub of protein with me. I just need my little magic bottle and a Gatorade-size bottle that I can easily make my shake with.
