Eric Cressey and Jacob Hiller Talk Vertical Jump Training.

image If you haven’t heard of Eric Cressey you surely will soon.  I first encountered Eric’s work while doing research on unstable surface training for vertical jump enhancement.  Eric has one of the very best studies done on the subject (which you can check out here:  Eric’s eBooks). Eric has a professional training facility in Boston, and trains with many professional athletes, mostly baseball players. Eric’s training methodology in areas of injury prevention, athletic alignment, and athletic performance enhancement are truly world renowned, and he is often a guest speaker in well known training conferences. I have decided to include a download that you can load onto your ipod as well as the full audio/video that you can listen to below:

Correct athletic alignment and improve your performance in days!

Eric’s new training manual “Assess and Correct” is a very easy to use guide to correcting athletic alignment.  I use “Assess and Correct” as a training reference to assess and correct (duh) athletes I work with. Improper alignment will inhibit you from being able to transfer your power into vertical jump performance, as well as prevent injury long term.  This easy to use guide allows you to easily make proper assessments, and prescribe the proper technique and volume of corrective exercise.  This is great for the individual athlete as well as for the seasoned trainer. The usability of the manual is very impressive.  Within 10 minutes you will have assessed athletic alignment and prescribed the proper exercises.
