It is well known in track and field coaching circles that form is a significant determinant of jump height, and form training is a significant portion of a jumpers training regime.
In basketball you won’t find many coaches or trainers teaching the fundamentals of using proper form to jump higher, and it’s simply because they are typically unaware of the benefit.
The great jumpers develop technique intuitively, but becoming aware of the principles that lead to increased elevation will help YOU develop it.
The good stuff in the video is about midway through so stick with it and see how Lebron James uses these techniques as well.
