Ballistic training equipment for vertical jump training – Cormax

Ballistic training is one of the best ways it increase your strength and condition your nervous system for high performance in the vertical jump.

One of the problems with traditional resistance training (like squatting) is that you cannot “release” the resistance or throw it, or even jump with a lot of weight on your back.

This means you have to slow down during the last phase of the lift.  This “deceleration” conditions your body to be lower during the last phase of the vertical jump as well.

Olympic lifts like the hang clean, and power clean are are excellent ballistic exercises where the weight is “released” to some degree.   However, training technology is still working on a safe and effective way to introduce ballistic training to the masses.

Cormax is a company that is leading the way in ballistic lifting technology.  The machines are easy for any athlete to use, and the weight can actually be released.

The machines allow the weight to be released and the weight returns back at a controlled speed.  So a squat with a Cormax machine can easily be turned into a ballistic lift;  jump as yo would with full triple extension (ankle, knees, hips) and let the weight go, then set up for the next jump.

These machines enable heavy resistance training to be ballistic in a safe and effective manner.  The machines are surely an excellent addition to any gym wanting to provide safe and effective means to increase performance.

Discounted equipment
